Incident Summary:

01/17/2011: On Monday morning at 0800, on Kota Baru-Tha Rua Road in Raman, Yala, Thailand, five unidentified militants ambushed a patrol escorting teachers to school with firearms. One soldier, identified as Nipati Baero, was injured in the clash. The militants used AK 47 and M16 rifles in the attack. No group claimed responsibility for this incident.
