Incident Summary:

05/03/2011: On Tuesday night, in Bannang Sata, Yala, Thailand, a group of four to five suspected southern separatists wearing camouflage clothing opened fire on a tea shop, killing four civilians and wounding 15 others. The specific motive for the attack is unknown; however, according to police, in the past, indiscriminate and random attacks targeting Thai Buddhist locals have been experienced. No damages were reported and no group claimed responsibility for the attack.
