Incident Summary:

07/03/2011: On Sunday afternoon around 1600, in Maiduguri, Borno, Nigeria, unidentified motorcycle gunmen fired upon and killed a Jere Council Chairman, identified as Mustapaha Ba’ale. He was a former state lawmaker, and had also contested the House of Representatives election on the platform of the All Nigeria Peoples Party. No group claimed responsibility, but the militant group Boko Haram was thought to be responsible for the attack.
