Incident Summary:

08/15/2011: On Monday night, in the Kharot area of Chardara, Konduz, Afghanistan, two guards of an Arbaki (local police) commander were wounded in an armed attack by Taliban militants. Reportedly, the Taliban attacked Arbaki commander Hayder's car and Hayder escaped unharmed, but his Corolla was damaged in the attack. The security commander said that the Taliban ran away from the area after police forces arrived at the scene. Taliban spokesman Zabiullah Mujahid claimed responsibility for the attack.
