Incident Summary:

09/03/2011: On Saturday afternoon at 1700, in Lashkar Gah, Helmand, Afghanistan, two suspected militants shot and killed a senior police officer. The officer was identified as Abdul Haleem, a commander for the Afghan Local Police Force and former mujahideen commander. The attackers fled by motorcycle. No group has claimed responsibility, but Taliban militants are suspected.
