Incident Summary:

09/17/2011: On Saturday, in Maiduguri, Borno, Nigeria, an unidentified gunman armed with a Kalashnikov rifle fired upon and killed Babakura Fugu, the son of the father-in-law of the former Boko Haram leader, Mohammed Yusuf, outside Fugu’s home. No group has claimed responsibility, but Boko Haram was thought to be responsible for the attack.
