Incident Summary:

10/18/2011: On Tuesday, in Nengmaldalgre village, East Garo Hills, Meghalaya, India, a Garo National Liberation Army commander identified as Dilseng alias Bashish was killed during an armed assault with Combat Battalion for Resolute Action and Special Weapons and Tactics (SWAT) commandos. SWAT also recovered an Kalashnikov rifle, a pistol, three magazines, 120 rounds of ammunition, high frequency wireless set and the identity card of the deceased militant. No group claimed responsibility for the armed assault but the Garo National Liberation Army was suspected.
