11/6/2011: Members of the Afghan National Police (ANP) discovered six militants planting mines and explosive devices along the road in Sayahchoi village, Kandahar province, Afghanistan. The militants, comprised of an Afghan citizen and five Pakistani nationals, were killed upon discovery by the police; no police officers were injured in the incident. The intended target of the attack is unknown, as is the motive underlying the incident.
