Incident Summary:
11/11/2011: Suspected members of the Taliban detonated an improvised explosive device in Javed Market in Yar Hussain, Khyber Pakhtoonkhwa Province, Pakistan. The target of the attack appeared to be two CD stores, although at least ten stores were damaged in the explosion. Given that the market was closed for the evening, there were no reports of injuries. Specific motive is unknown; however, the Taliban has described music as "un-Islamic".

Criteria
Criteria 1
The act must be aimed at attaining a political, economic, religious, or social goal. In terms of economic goals, the exclusive pursuit of profit does not satisfy this criterion. It must involve the pursuit of more profound, systemic economic change.
