Incident Summary:

12/13/2011: A suicide bomber was stopped when he attempted to enter the Qala-i-Naw airport in Qala-i-Naw, Badghis, Afghanistan. The bomber was stopped by police and prevented from entering the airport. He then detonated the vest, killing himself. The explosion caused no other damage. At the time, the airport was under NATO military control. No claim of responsibility has been made.
