Incident Summary:

04/20/2012: An assailant opened fire on Imam Abdul Karim Ssentamu at the junction of Ben Kiwanuka and William street in Kampala city, Central region, Uganda. Ssentamu was killed in the attack. No group claimed responsibility for the incident; however, sources attributed the attack to the Allied Democratic Forces (ADF), who denied involvement. Additionally, an individual, identified as Arone Madanda confessed to carrying out the attack.
