07/20/2012: Assailants destroyed a section of oil pipeline in Midyat town, Mardin province, Turkey. The pipeline was used to transport oil from Iraq to the Mediterranean. No casualties were reported in the explosion. No group claimed responsibility for the incident, but officials suspected the Kurdistan Workers' Party (PKK).
