Incident Summary:

08/05/2012: An explosive device detonated near the Kirkuk-Ceyhan pipeline in Midyat town, Mardin province, Turkey. No one was injured in the attack; however, the blast damaged a section of the pipeline and caused it to be shut down. No group claimed responsibility for this incident; however, the Turkish Energy Minister attributed it to the Kurdistan Workers' Party (PKK).
