Incident Summary:

08/13/2012: An Afghan police officer wearing civilian clothing opened fire on North Atlantic Treaty Organization (NATO) and Afghan National Army (ANA) forces in Achin district, Nangarhar province, Afghanistan. One NATO soldier and one Afghan National Directorate of Security (NDS) agent were injured in the attack. The Taliban claimed responsibility for the incident.
