Incident Summary:

08/27/2012: Assailants detonated an explosive device at the Kirkuk-Ceyhan oil pipeline in Silopi district, Sirnak province, Turkey. There were no reported casualties; however, the pipeline was damaged in the blast. No group claimed responsibility for the incident; however, Turkish officials attributed it to the Kurdistan Workers' Party (PKK).
