Incident Summary:
09/18/2012: A female suicide bomber drove her car into a minibus carrying foreigners who worked at Kabul International Airport in Kabul city, Kabul province, Afghanistan. In addition to the bomber, 12 people died and eight were injured in the attack. Hizb-i-Islami claimed responsibility for the incident, stating that it was in retaliation for an anti-Islamic film made in the United States.

Criteria
Criteria 1
The act must be aimed at attaining a political, economic, religious, or social goal. In terms of economic goals, the exclusive pursuit of profit does not satisfy this criterion. It must involve the pursuit of more profound, systemic economic change.
Criterion 2
There must be evidence of an intention to coerce, intimidate, or convey some other message to a larger audience (or audiences) than the immediate victims.
