10/03/2012: An explosive device planted on the Baku-Tbilisi-Erzurum (BTE) gas pipeline detonated in Kars province, Turkey. There were no reported casualties; however, the damages to the pipeline suspended the gas supply. No group claimed responsibility for the incident, but sources suspected the Kurdistan Workers' Party (PKK).
