10/08/2012: An explosive device detonated near a natural gas pipeline in Dogubeyazit town, Agri province, Turkey. There were no reported casualties; however, the pipeline was damaged in the blast, resulting in the suspension of the gas supply to the area. No group claimed responsibility for the incident; however, Turkish media attributed it to the Kurdistan Workers' Party (PKK).
