05/03/2013: Assailants kidnapped 12 bomb disposal experts in Kaylou village, Ziguinchor region, Senegal. Three of the 12 victims were released on May 27, 2013, and the remaining nine captives were released on July 12, 2013. The Movement of Democratic Forces of Casamance claimed responsibility for the incident.
