Incident Summary:

01/05/2014: Assailants attempted to violently extort money from a farming community in Paidu Pulangi village, Pikit town, North Cotabato province, Philippines. One assailant was killed when the Army responded to the attack. No group claimed responsibility for the incident; however, sources attributed the attack to the Bangsamoro Islamic Freedom Movement (BIFM).
