02/28/2014: Assailants ambushed a police patrol in Kuakonda area, Chhattisgarh state, India. Seven police officers were killed and two others were wounded in the attack. No group claimed responsibility for the incident; however, sources attributed the attack to the Communist Party of India - Maoist (CPI-Maoist).

Criteria 1
