Incident Summary:
03/18/2014: Assailants attacked residents in Abdallah Mohamedein village, North Darfur state, Sudan. This was one of 12 attacks on villages carried out by the same group on March 18, 2014. An unknown number of civilians were killed and injured and at least three residents were kidnapped across all attacks. The villages were also set on fire, the water wells were destroyed, and the assailants stole livestock. No group claimed responsibility for the incident; however, sources attributed the attack to Janjaweed.

Criteria
Criteria 1
The act must be aimed at attaining a political, economic, religious, or social goal. In terms of economic goals, the exclusive pursuit of profit does not satisfy this criterion. It must involve the pursuit of more profound, systemic economic change.
Criterion 2
