05/09/2014: An explosive device detonated as a police convoy passed by the British and Qatari embassies in Sanaa city, Amanat Al Asimah governorate, Yemen. At least 11 police officers were injured in the blast. No group claimed responsibility for the incident; however, a source suspected that Al-Qaida in the Arabian Peninsula (AQAP) carried out the attack.
