08/22/2014: Assailants opened fire on a feeding program located at a school, where soldiers and civilians were present, in Osang village, Northern Samar province, Philippines. There were an unknown number of casualties among the assailants in the attack. No group claimed responsibility for the incident; however, sources attributed the attack to the New People's Army (NPA).
