10/26/2014: Assailants abducted Hasan Ozay, a village chief, and two local residents from Yapraktepe village, Siirt province, Turkey. The hostages were released the following day. No group claimed responsibility for the incident; however, sources attributed the kidnapping to the Kurdistan Workers' Party (PKK).
