Incident Summary:

11/13/2014: Assailants set up a roadblock and stopped a vehicle carrying two police officers near Rafah town, North Sinai governorate, Egypt. After checking their identification and confirming that they were police officers, the assailants dragged them out of the vehicle and opened fire, killing the two officers. This was one of two related attacks at fake checkpoints in North Sinai governorate on the same day. Sinai Province of the Islamic State claimed responsibility for the incident.
