01/02/2015: Assailants opened fire on residents and set fire to buildings in Ambe Madaki village, Kaduna state, Nigeria. At least 15 people were killed and five others were injured in the attack. No group claimed responsibility; however, sources attributed the incident to Fulani militants.

Criteria 1
The act must be aimed at attaining a political, economic, religious, or social goal. In terms of economic goals, the exclusive pursuit of profit does not satisfy this criterion. It must involve the pursuit of more profound, systemic economic change.
