01/09/2015: Assailants abducted a Ukrainian journalist, Maria Varfolomeyeva, photographing buildings in Luhansk city, Luhansk oblast, Ukraine. Varfolomeyeva was released on March 3, 2016 in exchange for two other people. The Luhansk People's Republic claimed responsibility for the attack.
