Incident Summary:

01/13/2015: Assailants stopped 10 families attempting to flee Abu al-Duhan village, Diyala governorate, Iraq. The attackers stole valuables, kidnapped five family members, and forced the remaining victims to return to their residences. The outcome of the kidnapping is unknown. No group claimed responsibility for the incident; however, sources attributed the attack to the Islamic State of Iraq and the Levant (ISIL).
