01/23/2015: Security forces fired a rocket at a suicide bomber in an explosives-laden vehicle targeting Peshmerga members west of Mosul, Nineveh, Iraq. The vehicle detonated, killing the assailant. No group claimed responsibility; however, sources attributed the attack to the Islamic State of Iraq and the Levant (ISIL).
