Incident Summary:

02/01/2015: A suicide bomber detonated an explosives-laden vehicle near the Al-Khabbaz oil field in Kirkuk, Iraq. In addition to the assailant, at least one peshmerga member was killed and three members were injured in the blast. Security forces also discovered and defused an unknown number of explosive devices in the area. Np group claimed responsibility for the incident; however, sources attributed the attack to the Islamic State of Iraq and the Levant (ISIL).
