Incident Summary:

03/13/2015: Assailants attacked a mica mine and abducted 11 workers in Giridih district, Jharkhand state, India. All of the hostages were released shortly after the kidnapping. The manager, identified as Shyamsunder Rawut, was killed and nine other workers were injured in the attack. No group claimed responsibility; however, sources attributed the incident to Maoists.
