05/01/2015: Assailants attacked two civilians, identified as Shailesh Kainglewar and Sinu Upasha, in Dechalipetha village, Aheri division, Gadchiroli district, Maharashtra state, India. The two civilians were killed in the attack. No group claimed responsibility for the incident; however, a source attributed the attack to Maoists and asserted that they targeted the civilians because they were suspected of being police informants.
