06/19/2015: Assailants opened fire on a military patrol in Sinoron village, Davao del Sur province, Philippines. A soldier was killed and six others, including four assailants and two soldiers, were injured in the ensuing clash. No group claimed responsibility for the incident; however, sources attributed the attack to the New People's Army (NPA).
