07/12/2015: An explosive device planted in a tunnel detonated underneath Aleppo Citadel, which was being used as a Syrian Army base in Aleppo city, Aleppo governorate, Syria. There were an unknown number of casualties in the blast. No group claimed responsibility; however, sources attributed the attack to Muslim fundamentalists.
