07/24/2015: Assailants abducted Vedat Kaya from Diyarbakir province, Turkey. Kaya, a police officer, was released shortly after the kidnapping. No group claimed responsibility for the incident; however, sources attributed the attack to the Kurdistan Workers' Party (PKK).
