08/16/2015: Assailants attacked a police party in Abtauda locality, Jawand district, Badghis province, Afghanistan. Seven police officers, five assailants, and five civilians were killed, and ten officers were abducted. The outcome of the abduction is unknown. No group claimed responsibility for the incident; however, a source attributed the attack to the Taliban.
