08/24/2015: Assailants detonated explosives at the Baku-Tbilisi-Erzurum (BTE) gas pipeline in Yabasan village, Sarikamis district, Kars province, Turkey. There were no reported casualties, although the pipeline was damaged in the blast. No group claimed responsibility for the incident; however, sources attributed the attack to the Kurdistan Workers' Party (PKK).
