09/15/2015: An explosive device planted at a church was discovered in Surunga municipality, Eastern region, Nepal. The device detonated after it was brought to the Surunga Police Post, injuring at least two police officers, including Assistant Sub-Inspector Dev Narayan Yadav. Hindu Morcha Nepal claimed responsibility for the incident.

Criteria
Criteria 1
The act must be aimed at attaining a political, economic, religious, or social goal. In terms of economic goals, the exclusive pursuit of profit does not satisfy this criterion. It must involve the pursuit of more profound, systemic economic change.
