10/06/2015: Assailants fired missiles at a Syrian Armed Forces (SAF) helicopter near Kuwayris Military Airbase outside of Kuwayris, Aleppo governorate, Syria. At least one soldier was killed in the attack, while the fate of the remaining crew members is unknown. No group claimed responsibility; however, sources suspected that the attack was carried out by the Islamic State of Iraq and the Levant (ISIL).

Criteria 1
The act must be aimed at attaining a political, economic, religious, or social goal. In terms of economic goals, the exclusive pursuit of profit does not satisfy this criterion. It must involve the pursuit of more profound, systemic economic change.
