10/22/2015: A roadside bomb detonated targeting the vehicle of Iftikhar Momand in Shah Burhan area, Bihsud district, Nangarhar province, Afghanistan. Momand, a Provincial Council member, was unharmed, although one of his guards was injured in the blast. The Khorasan Chapter of the Islamic State claimed responsibility for the incident.

Criteria
Criteria 1
The act must be aimed at attaining a political, economic, religious, or social goal. In terms of economic goals, the exclusive pursuit of profit does not satisfy this criterion. It must involve the pursuit of more profound, systemic economic change.
Criterion 2

Successful Attack
Success of a terrorist strike is defined according to the tangible effects of the attack.
