12/23/2015: An explosives-laden vehicle detonated near a grocery store in Khalis, Diyala governorate, Iraq. At least four people were killed and eight others were injured in the blast. This was one of two vehicle bombings in Khalis on the same day. The Islamic State of Iraq and the Levant (ISIL) claimed responsibility for the attacks.
