04/26/2016: Assailants abducted a public relations officer (PRO) in Langol neighborhood, Imphal, Manipur, India. The hostage was rescued on May 7, 2016. The Tribal Revolutionary Army (TRA) claimed responsibility and stated that the victim was abducted in order to extort a ransom. Sources also attributed the incident to the Kuki National Front (KNF).
