09/29/2016: Assailants opened fire on Turkish Village Guards members guarding road work vehicles near Yuksekova, Hakkari, Turkey. At least three members were killed and two others were injured in the assault. No group claimed responsibility; however, sources attributed the attack to the Kurdistan Workers' Party (PKK).
