10/12/2016: Assailants opened fire on Ghulam Nabi Khoja outside of his home in Kralgund, Jammu and Kashmir, India. Khoja, a Peoples' Conference party leader, was killed in the attack. No group claimed responsibility for the incident; however, sources attributed the attack to separatists.
