Incident Summary:

10/20/2016: A suicide bomber detonated an explosives-laden vehicle targeting peshmerga forces in Bashiqah, Nineveh, Iraq. In addition to the assailant, at least 20 peshmerga members, including Brigadier Mustafa Gorani, were killed in the blast. The Islamic State of Iraq and the Levant (ISIL) claimed responsibility for the incident.
