Incident Summary:

01/31/2017: Assailants opened fire on Armed Forces of the Democratic Republic of the Congo (FARDC) soldiers in Mulungu, South Kivu, Democratic Republic of the Congo. At least two assailants were killed in the ensuing clash. No group claimed responsibility; however, sources attributed the attack to the Raia Mutomboki Militia.
