02/15/2017: Assailants opened fire on Special Task Force (STF) officers in Mardapal, Chhattisgarh, India. At least five people, including two STF officers and three assailants, were killed and an unknown number of assailants were injured in the assault. No group claimed responsibility; however, sources attributed the attack to Maoists.
