08/27/2017: A suicide bomber detonated an explosives-laden vehicle targeting an Afghan National Army (ANA) convoy at a market in Dopul, Helmand, Afghanistan. In addition to the assailant, 13 people were killed and 19 people were injured in the blast; the victims included both civilians and military personnel. The Taliban claimed responsibility for the incident.
