09/05/2017: Assailants attacked Dzaba, Extreme-North, Cameroon. At least three civilians were killed and eight others were abducted in the incident. Five hostages were released; however, the fate of the remaining hostages is unknown. No group claimed responsibility; however, sources attributed the attack to the Al-Barnawi faction of Boko Haram, also known as the Islamic State West Africa Province (ISWAP).
